Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-01-25

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tax360.lk and related services, including any AI-powered features (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

"Tax360" ("we", "our", or "us") provides a Sri Lanka-focused tax assistance product that can generate guidance, explanations, and calculations based on information you provide.

2. Eligibility and your responsibilities

You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable laws to use the Service.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information when requested
  • keep your account credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized access
  • use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms

3. Accounts and access tiers

We may offer guest access and registered accounts, and multiple subscription tiers (for example: Guest, Free, Pro, Pro+, and Enterprise). Features, limits, and pricing may vary by tier and may change over time.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, or violate confidentiality
  • submit malware, attempt to probe or disrupt the Service, or circumvent usage limits
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, or system prompts except where permitted by law
  • use the Service to provide regulated professional services to third parties if you are not properly licensed
  • submit sensitive secrets you do not want stored (for example, passwords, OTPs, or full payment card details)

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violate these Terms or pose a risk to users, the Service, or us.

5. AI features and important limitations

The Service may generate outputs based on the information you submit. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your circumstances.

You are responsible for:

  • verifying outputs before relying on them
  • ensuring any tax filings, payments, and decisions comply with applicable Sri Lankan tax laws

The Service provides general information and computational assistance and does not constitute professional tax, legal, or financial advice.

6. Your content

"Your Content" includes prompts, messages, files, and other information you submit to the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and process Your Content to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

7. Data use, model improvement, and feedback

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

For AI improvement and training:

  • Guest and Free users: Your conversation content and personalization inputs may be used to improve our AI features, including for model training and evaluation.
  • Pro, Pro+, and Enterprise users: We do not use your conversation content or personalization inputs for model training.

If you submit feedback on a message or interaction, we may review the relevant conversation context for quality assurance, safety, and support purposes. This feedback review can apply to all tiers.

8. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid subscriptions (if offered) are billed according to the plan you select.

At this time, we do not support automatic renewal. Until we launch an in-product payment gateway, paid access is handled as a manual monthly payment arrangement: you must contact support to arrange payment each month to keep your paid tier active.

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in an in-product offer, fees paid are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated.

We may change pricing, features, or plan limits. If changes apply to an active paid arrangement, we will provide notice via the Service and/or by contacting you.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Tax360 or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted by these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

10. Third-party services and links

The Service may integrate with third-party services (for example, authentication providers) or contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAX360 AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TAX360 FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES TO TAX360 FOR USE OF THE SERVICE (FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU ARE A GUEST OR FREE USER), OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS ZERO.

13. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tax360 from claims, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice via the Service and/or to registered users. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
